Our department boasts the most advanced OPD unit, equipped with high-definition endoscopic cameras, and a fully integrated endoscopic setup within our operation theatre. This ensures the successful execution of a wide range of E.N.T surgeries and procedures, performed with precision and care.
Our team comprises highly skilled and qualified E.N.T specialists, working collaboratively to offer 12 hours of daily E.N.T services and round-the-clock emergency care. This unwavering commitment to availability ensures that our patients receive the attention and treatment they require at all times.
The E.N.T Department at Ariana Medical Complex offers a comprehensive range of services, including:
- Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FEES): Specialised surgical procedures for the treatment of paranasal sinus diseases.
- Endoscopic Surgery for Deviated Nasal Septum: Corrective procedures to restore nasal function and structure.
- Endoscopic Rhinoplasty: Performed for both functional and cosmetic purposes, ensuring improved appearance and functionality.
- Endoscopic Surgery for Tumours and Masses: Treatment of tumours and masses in the nose, nasopharynx, and oropharynx, as well as biopsies of laryngeal tumours for histopathological evaluation.
- Ear Surgeries: Including the removal of keloids, osteomas, and papillomas, performed with the utmost care and precision.

Dr Mir Abdulhay Baha was born on 23rd July 1974 in Kabul, Afghanistan. He completed his early education at the prestigious Habibia High School, graduating in 1992. Pursuing his passion for medicine, he graduated from Kabul University of Medical Sciences in 1999. Driven by his dedication to improving patient care, he further specialised in Otolaryngology (E.N.T), completing his residency and specialisation programme at Maiwand Teaching Hospital in 2008.
Dr Baha’s professional journey spans more than two decades of remarkable service and contributions to the field of E.N.T. For 17 years, he worked as an accomplished E.N.T specialist and surgeon in Kabul. Alongside his clinical practice, he shared his expertise as a lecturer in E.N.T at various renowned private medical colleges, where he played a pivotal role in educating and mentoring the next generation of medical professionals.
In 2016, Dr Baha joined Ariana Hospital, where he has been serving as an E.N.T specialist and surgeon. Additionally, he holds the esteemed position of Head of the E.N.T Department, where he has been instrumental in enhancing the quality of care and introducing innovative techniques. His leadership and dedication have significantly contributed to the hospital’s reputation as a centre of excellence for E.N.T care.
Dr Baha’s commitment to professional growth and excellence is evident in his active participation in numerous international workshops and conferences related to E.N.T. These engagements have taken him to various countries, allowing him to stay at the forefront of advancements in his field and incorporate global best practices into his work.
Throughout his career, Dr Baha has been recognised for his exceptional skills, compassionate care, and dedication to advancing the field of E.N.T in Afghanistan. His unwavering commitment to his patients, students, and colleagues has made him a respected figure in the medical community.
