Afghanistan faces difficult socio-economic conditions, being one of the poorest countries in the world. A large number of people are dealing with poverty, which makes healthcare services unaffordable for them.
The charity services of Ariana Medical Complex are provided in different ways:

1- The Ariana Medical Complex actively supports the community by offering discounts and even free services to those in extreme need. Annually, the hospital provided approximately (8,000,000  AFG), discounts, helping many poor patients and showcasing the institution’s commitment to charity.

2- Supporting poor patients via charity fund to deliver vital medical services.

A Charity foundation with the name of Ariana Charity Foundation, has been established in Ariana Medical Complex (AMC) in November 2023 with the aim to provide the standard and quality health services to those deserving countrymen who cannot afford. The foundation primary focus is fundraising with the goal of securing donations and grants to support a wide range of hospital initiatives. This includes provision of health services (fully funded or some part of the medical expense of the deserving patient who cannot afford) and funding research and educational initiatives.

The hospital charity foundation plays a vital role in ensuring that AMC can continue providing the highest quality care to our community. The foundation has also been instrumental in supporting the hospital’s efforts to address community health needs. This includes funding programs that provide free health screenings, offer nutritional counseling, and promote mental health awareness.

The foundation is operating independently consist of five members. No shareholder is allowed to become the member of foundation. Funds for the foundation is raised internally via charity boxes placed inside the hospital premises, hospital senior staff mostly doctors and shareholders and community members.

Our donors are the backbone of our success. Their generosity allows us to continually enhance the care we provide and invest in the long-term health of our community.

Furthermore, the hospital invests in the education and training of medical professionals thorough conducting free of charge specialized training programs for medical students, doctors, and healthcare workers. These programs are designed to enhance healthcare quality and prepare a new generation of medical professionals to meet Afghanistan’s healthcare challenges.
