General visiting hours

• afternoon visit from 15.45 p.m. to 16.45 p.m.
• evening visit from 18.15 p.m.to 19.45 p.m.

Several wards have other visiting hours. Please ask the nursing staff of the department where you are admitted what the visiting hours are. If you are not able to visit at these times, feel free to talk to one of the nurses of the department if an exceptation can be made outside regular visiting hours.

from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and from 14:00 to 15:30 p.m.

B1, Clinical psychiatry department

• afternoon visit:
  Monday to Friday from 12:45 to 13:30 p.m.
  Saturday and Sunday from 13:30 to 16:30 p.m.
• evening visit:
  from 18:15 to 19:45 p.m.

A2, short-stay ward
from 16:00 to 20:00 p.m.

A3, lung section
from 15.00 am to 20.00 p.m.

A3, Respi Care
from 11.30 am to 12.00 p.m.
from 16:00 to 17:00 p.m.
from 18:30 to 19:30 p.m.

B2, Children’s Department
from 10:00 to 12:00 a.m. and from 15:00 to 19:00 p.m.

B4, Nursing Department
from 11:00 to 13:00 p.m. and from 15:00 to 20:00 p.m..

B5, Nursing Department
from 15:00 to 20:00 p.m..

D2, Nursing Department Delivery rooms / maternity
Nurseries: from 11:00 a.m. to 22:00 p.m..

E2, Neonatology
Parents can visit their baby throughout the day. However certain times of day are less suited for a visit, because of the work at the department. These times are from 07:00 a.m. to 09:00 a.m. and after 22:00 p.m..  At certain times we can ask you to leave the department, this may be due to work with other patients or during the transfer to the exchange of services and the visit of the medical staff.

Siblings are welcome to visit between 09.30 a.m. and 19.30 p.m., only with the guidance of one of the parents.

Grandparents, family and friends (12 years or older), are welcome to visit with the guidance of one of the parents. we recommend to limit these visit to only once per day,with a maximum of two people. We ask you to make an appointment between 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and between 18.30 and 19.30 p.m., and to write this down in the diary section.

C3, Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
from 2:00 p.m. to 15:00 pm and from 19:00 to 20:00 p.m..

C3, Medium Care
from 14:00 p.m. to 15:00 p.m.and from 19:00 to 20:00 p.m.

D3 and E3, Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
from 2:00 p.m. to 15:00 p.m. and from 19:00 to 20:00 p.m..
Weekends and holidays from 11:00 to 12:00 a.m..

F3, Cardio Surgical Care (CCC)
from 14:00 to 14:30 pm and from 19:00 to 19:30 p.m.

D4, Medium Care Cardiothoracic Surgery

Open visitation

azM/Maastricht offers open visitation between 07:00 AM and 08:00 PM. If you wish to visit outside regular visiting hours, please use the buzzer at the door. A member of our security staff will attend to you as soon as possible.
