Dr. Asma Rahbeen

Dr. Asma Rahbeen is a highly skilled and dedicated cardiologist born in Kabul, Afghanistan. She earned her MD from Cheragh Medical University in 2014, and her commitment to expanding her knowledge in cardiology led her to pursue additional training courses throughout her career.

In 2014, Dr. Rahbeen completed an Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course and an Electrocardiography Training Course from Kabul Medical University. She then completed her Echocardiography training at Ariana Hospital, Kabul, Afghanistan, in 2015.

Dr. Rahbeen joined the cardiology department of Cheragh Medical Institute in 2016, where she served as a lecturer. Her passion for learning and growing in her field led her to complete an Ultrasonography Training course by USAID(WIE) in Kabul, Afghanistan, in 2016 and participate in writing and establishing a CPR book in the Dari language at Ariana Medical Complex in 2017. She also completed a Vascular Doppler Training course at Ariana Hospital, Kabul, in the same year.

To enhance her skills further, Dr. Rahbeen pursued an online Master’s class in Echocardiography at  123 Echocardiography conducted by Vienna Medical University, Austria, in 2019. She was also certified in American Heart Association CPR and ECC guidelines online course in 2020.

Dr. Rahbeen has been serving as a physician in the Internal medicine and Cardiology department of Ariana Medical Complex since 2015. She also leads ECG and ACLS training for medical students and other medical staff. She also teaches cardiology to medical students at Cheragh Medical University and participates in all clinical and academic activities and management of the Cardiology department at Ariana Medical Complex.

Dr. Rahbeen’s hard work and dedication to her field have made her a respected medical community member. She strives for excellence in her work and inspires others to do the same.
